Not one, but 3.

Hell no. We are actually doing something COMPLETELY different. We are CLOSING two practices!
Hear me out before you have any sort of emotion about this.
I am EXCITED to be closing my weight management practices and here is why:
It has been an incredible almost four year ride! My incredible team and I have served hundreds if not thousands of clients. We have shared their struggles, successes, and experienced a lot of our own as well given the unstable nature of American healthcare. We have crushed so many barriers because again, the healthcare system is built upon clients NOT getting better. Despite that, we have worked to provide care that people need at an affordable price.
So why would I close them down?
1. I am tired. I have been operating multiple clinics while raising children, traveling, and growing and learning as a human and professional. I preach the importance of slowing down but I keep forgetting this for myself (ADHD plays a role.)
2. It is okay to focus on what is truly stable and your happy place. I LOVE mental health! I sold my group practice January 2024 and am ready to expand my current practice, New Vistas Mental Health. We are expanding to an underserved area in Indiana well also continuously growing here in Columbus, OH.
3. Timing. It just so happened that while I was making this tough choice, the FDA took some of the most popular weight loss meds off the shortage list (despite there being a clear shortage but…). I consulted with my mentor (thank you Justin Allan Montgomery!) and gained the power to make another tough decision. I will likely be far more productive with 3 companies than I am with 5. There is no shame in shutting down shop. My clinics are profitable but are they worth it?
Not for me in my long term career and personal goals.
4. I am working on my brand NPECB and The Unhinged Female. I have multiple speaking engagements booked this year.
5. I honestly think I can make MORE MONEY with fewer businesses. Check back in six months to see if I am right!
For those of you that are clients of ours, please do not panic, we have plans for you! We have developed other programming and a game plan, check your emails.
I have not been this excited since I started my first clinic in the summer of 2021. I did hard things and I am far from being done taking on new challenges.
We can do hard things.
